The menu at Rocca is a delightful journey through Italy’s culinary treasures, showcasing a rich variety of flavors that cater to every craving. The signature starters like Arancini Rice Balls—crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy inside—set the tone for a memorable meal. The Calamari and Mussels Alla Marinara offer fresh, briny notes from the sea, perfectly balanced with gently spiced sauces. Pasta lovers can revel in classics such as the Spaghetti Tagliatelle Bolognese, rich in savory depth, or the comfortingly creamy Spaghetti Carbonara. The Lasagna Al Forno, baked to perfection, layers tender pasta with robust meat sauce and molten cheese, evoking a true taste of Italy’s home cooking.
No visit would be complete without sampling Rocca’s expertly crafted pizzas, each boasting a thin, crisp base topped generously with fresh mozzarella and vibrant toppings. The Pizza Margherita is a simple yet sublime homage to Italian tradition, while the more adventurous Americana Pizza brings bold, hearty flavors to the table. For a lighter option, the Caprese Salad featuring ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil offers a refreshing start.
Many diners rave about the desserts, especially the Tiramisu, which strikes the perfect balance of coffee-soaked richness and creamy sweetness—an indulgent finale to your meal. The Affogato, pairing espresso with velvety gelato, is another crowd-pleaser that delights the senses.
Customer reviews echo the restaurant’s warm, welcoming vibe and exceptional food quality. One guest fondly recalled their teenage son declaring Rocca’s pizza to be “one of the best he had ever had,” highlighting how the family-friendly, attentive service enhanced the overall experience. Another praised the prawn starter, calling it “tender and soft” with a spicy sauce that perfectly complemented the dish, creating that feeling of home comfort paired with culinary sophistication. The staff’s energy and storytelling spirit, especially from hosts like Francesco, add an extra layer of charm that makes every visit memorable.

Stopped by with 2 teenagers for lunch after a museum visit. It absolutely hit the spot and was good value. My son said the pizza was one of the best he had ever had and I really enjoyed the lunch menu, particularly the tiramisu. Our waitress was also really helpful and friendly.
We arrived not sure what to expect and we were ushered to our table and within seconds we received menus and they offered water and the menu was explained. The prawn starter are to die for, they were tender and soft and the spicy sauce complimented them and the bread makes you feel like you are at home. We had the lamb and beef. We also had a side of livers and I recommend everyone to try them as an addition to their mains. Overall great atmosphere, great personality and service excellent, will be back!!!!!!
The food was good but the great vibe and the friendly staff were even better. Great place to unwind at the end of a long day, either alone or with friends. Great menu and amazing selection of wine. Table staff also come with great selection of stories and anecdotes. Will be back soon.
Buzzing, beautiful, brilliant restaurant, gives a wonderful authentic and enjoyable vibe, food is served in good time, so many options with the quality being higher than expected. We were hosted by Francesco Who brings a ton of energy and excitement before you even taste the food. 100% recommend to anyone and everyone.
Very good food, u have to try the Torta della nonna. Very nice waiters
Second visit here… I’d go more often if I actually lived closer! On my first visit I had an Americana Pizza and a Seafood Linguine w/ tomato sauce. To my surprise this time around, the linguine wasn’t on the menu anymore! So I asked the smiley waitress if the chef could still cook that dish for me, lucky for me they still could! It was Lovely, super delicious. As for the pizza… do not sleep on the pizzas here, they’re Amazing and full of flavour! Thanks again Rocca Di Papa! See you soon!
I can’t stress enough, please visit this fabulous restaurant. Visited in Feb after a natural history museum visit, visited yesterday after a science museum visit. We will absolutely be back! The food is simply delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is second to none. Vaska waited on us both times and treated us so incredibly well. Furthermore, he has the amazing ability to have a laugh and joke too. Thank you all.
When we came in for lunch today it was us and one other table, service was fabulous, food was tasty, and it was incredible to watch the place fill up before our eyes. The staff are attentive and even during a busy lunch rush we were well taken care of. Amazing 2 course lunch menu for £12.45!
